how we operate our salon
We are a drop off and pick up salon! Please keep in mind, grooming is time consuming. Please do not rush your groomer. Some pups require more time then others. Typically, expect your pup to be here anywhere from 1 to 4 hours depending on your dog's breed and the service being done. We ask that you leave us with a reliable phone number to call you at when your dog is ready for pick up! We do work on multiple pups at a time and use a kennel system. To ensure the safety of the pets in our care, your pup will be in a kennel with a bowl of water while waiting to be picked up. We can make arrangements for dogs that are uncomfortable being in a kennel.
After you drop off your pup, we bathe and dry them right away unless we are running behind on our prior appointment, or if we have to pre-shave your pup due to matting. After their bath, they'll most likely get a break while we finish the haircut of the pup that came in prior to your pup. To give you a rough idea, bath services normally take 1-2 hours and haircut services normally take 2-4 hours. We also offer zoom groom/express services where you pay extra for us to block out our schedules to only groom your pup straight through. Express appointments have to be pre-booked and requested when booking your appointment. Your dog will not be placed in a kennel at all during an express service so we ask that you pick up your pup right away.
In order to make your dog's grooming appointment a positive and calm experience, please make your groomer aware of any special needs your pup may have!
